BELLINGHAM, Wash. —
You’ve heard of vegetarian, vegan and maybe even pescatarian diets but how about flexitarian?
The flexitarian diet, which is plant-based but can also include animal products, is gaining ground as a healthy eating alternative and PeaceHealth is offering a chance to learn more about this flexible diet.
A PeaceHealth registered dietician will cover the basics of what the diet is, how it works, pros and cons, and how to make a flexitarian diet work for you during a class called “How a Flexitarian Diet Could Work for You” at noon February 18.
The class will be held online, and is free for everyone.
